The Concept

Showcase is an entirely unique concept that delights customers with the world’s most fun, interactive, new, and unique products. It’s retail-tainment!

Although Showcase has become the largest as-seen-on-TV retailer in the world, this is just a small portion of Showcase’s business today. Showcase’s product line has expanded in new directions, and today TV-advertised products represent less than 50% of sales. Showcase has instead focused on developing its own proprietary product lines in bedding, massage, fitness and other lifestyle-improvement categories. These in-house brands include:

• Dream Away, the world’s best memory foam bedding
• Cloud 9, the world’s softest comfort clothing
• Quantum, the world’s best high-tech health and beauty products, and
• Kyoto Environmental, the world’s most unique eco-friendly products.

The Environment

The Showcase environment is one where you can “try it before you buy it.” Most products are assembled, plugged in, and ready to use. Product is not kept behind glass, behind the cashdesk, or in any way inaccessible to customer interaction. This creates a “toy store for adults” environment where customers can interact and have fun.

The Customer Reaction

Showcase maintains and builds a loyal following of customers who love new and unique products. In an independent survey of 1,000 people, 77% found Showcase the most fun store in Canada, and 92% found Showcase the most interactive store in Canada!

Showcase 2008 Design

Partnering with John Williams and Marcotte Design, Showcase unveiled in 2008 Concept Store in March of 2008 at Square One Shopping Centre, Mississauga, Ontario.

Lease Criteria

• Enclosing shopping centres with $450+ in sales/sq.ft
• Long-term leases (7-10 years only). No temporary leases or kiosks.
• CRU of 1100-1400 square feet
